Weird as heck.

Viral marketing?
Microsoft?
Sony?
Someone else?
This is for real? (which would be strange)
NINTENDO?[I]

I think it's probly Microsoft, but Nintendo needs viral marketing to hype up GDC and e3 a little more. We'll see in a day or so, when the counter reaches zero.

Your thoughts?

I have yet to see what they has to do with gaming.

Yeah, other than a few links to gaming sites where someone mentions it, I've seen no releation to gaming. What I did find, however, was that the site was registered by this guy: http://www.hlinko.com/ and the admin's email address on the WHOIS information is john@extremecampaigns.com.

Sounds like an advertising campaign of some sort, but I get the feeling that it relates more to pandas than gaming given this guy's past work in assisting activist programs and far-left websites.

Just that websites like that seem to be viral marketing for gaming, especially Microsoft. They do it all the time.

I know there was one other, which revolved around this one symbol...

And with people claiming that Nintendo is doing some giant viral marketing business for hype, I thought this was an interesting site.

No one knows, but there is little evidence linking it to gaming other than a few of the links here:
